Fruit and Vegetable Picking in St. Louis
St. Louis is a gold mine for variety in fruit and vegetable picking. There are options for pick-your-own fruits and vegetables throughout spring, summer, and fall months. This is a fun outing for your family and a great educational experience for your kids to teach them about where food comes from! Additionally, many of these farms are kid-friendly and have events/child play areas that your kiddos can look forward to. I especially look forward to strawberry, raspberry, and peach picking seasons! The best part about picking your own fruit and vegetables, is that whatever you eat on the premises is free. For any goodies you want to take home, most farms price items based on weight.
